Quick Bio
Ten years running the operation.
100+ games shipped.
I co-founded 8SEC and ran the studio for 10 years, shipping more than 100 games.
Coming up with game concepts is only the first step. Expanding them into full games and driving them all the way through production to success is where I thrive, working hands-on as both programmer and designer at every stage.
I hired and built the teams needed to make each one happen, and directed projects across the full range of scope: from one-week hyper-casual toys to multi-year real-time multiplayer hardcore titles, and everything in between.

Where I add the most value
Game Direction
Leading art, programming, and design teams towards a single creative vision. I make sure everyone pulls in the same direction and moves toward the game we want to make, from the pitch to the shipped product.
I've handled production schedules and daily meetings for 10 years to keep teams in sync, adapting the design on the fly to fit the constraints of the project, budgets, and team composition.
Game Design
Coming up with game concepts and pressure-testing them against analytics, market trends, and my own experience as a player, keeping what earns its place and cutting what doesn't. My product vision holds the whole system at once, so I can zoom out to see how mechanics interact or drop into the weeds to fine-tune values and game feel.
Founder / Team Leadership
Personally pitched to investors and managed the relationships across three fundraising rounds, in both French and English. Built the studio from the ground up with co-founder Louis Croquet, from a two-person team shipping two games a week to a 30-person studio running multiple teams across two offices, zooming out to direct the studio and zooming in to debug code when needed.
Technical Direction
With a programming background, I coded every game myself before the team scaled up, and stayed the technical expert on most systems, overseeing the code architecture of every shipped title to keep the creative vision aligned with the engineering. I love optimizing games and regularly hacked away at performance on everything we shipped, speaking the right language with every team, art, design, programming, and marketing alike.
Successes worth naming
IMG / 8SEC
8SEC
Built the studio from the ground up: raised €5M across two €1.5M rounds plus BPI France debt financing, leading every pitch and investor relationship personally. Scaled from 2 people to 30 across two offices, running marketing in-house for a stretch of that growth.
IMG / TRIVIA.IO
Trivia.io
8SEC's first self-released title, breaking from the studio's publisher-driven model to own user acquisition and monetization directly — reaching 25M users across Tier 1 markets. We redefined the quiz format to make it fun and accessible to a hyper-casual audience.
IMG / HERO SQUAD
Hero Squad
Shipped back-to-back with Idle Army in 2021, Hero Squad defined 8SEC's Hybrid Casual approach and became one of the studio's highest-grossing titles. We pulled ideas from top marketing trends and designed a hyper-satisfying rogue-like that can be enjoyed in bite-sized sessions.
IMG / EXFIL
Exfil
A casualization of the extraction shooter genre (think Escape From Tarkov) for mobile, with realtime multiplayer twin-stick extraction gameplay paired with sharp monetization design.
